陸上部の朝練（？）は週２回の英語の勉強会です。火曜と木曜の7:40からの30分間、顧問の先生が英文法の授業をしてくれます。現在国内の競技会でも、陸上競技のスターターは英語で指示を行います。「位置について」は”On your marks.” 「用意」は”Set.” 海外の競技会でも平常心で競技に臨めるようにと、数年前に変更されました。陸上競技でも、将来の自分の職業でも、世界にはばたけ、陸上部員！
