Tick tock, tick tock. An invisible clock ticking in my head every weekday morning reminds me not to oversleep. It brings enough brightness into the room to slowly wake me up from my morning laziness. Mornings may be rough for some of us, but hold off on sleeping in, because there are many unpredictably wonderful things that await us!

One of the many things that motivates me to look forward to school every day is the natural scenery and greenery along my journey to Kitakamakura Joshigakuen. It has always been so rewarding for me to enjoy the beautiful and scenic view of the mountains and temples from afar. I love the feeling of the fresh air in my face, wind blowing through my hair and birds chirping as if they are greeting me early in the morning.

Because of that, it always gives me the need to stop, feel the breeze and enjoy the moment. The sight of Kita-Kamakura has never failed to astonish me and I am really grateful for how much beauty we are surrounded with. During my free time, I often walk around the school to admire the beautiful scenery of the mountains and the allure of what they offer. Oh how much I wish I had such breath-taking views around my high school back in Malaysia!
